The page auto-refreshes every 60 seconds to show the latest status.

Understanding the Dashboard

Status Indicators

Indicator Meaning
Operational Service is working normally
⚠️ Degraded Service is experiencing issues
🔧 Maintenance Planned maintenance in progress
No data Insufficient data to determine status

Per-Service Cards

Each monitored service shows:

  • Service name and description
  • Current status badge (Operational/Degraded)
  • Response time (optional)
  • Sub-checks (e.g., individual apps under the "Apps" service)
  • 7-day health histogram — Color-coded daily status

Histogram

The histogram shows daily status for the past 7 days:

  • Green squares — All checks passed that day
  • Red squares — Some checks failed (number of incidents shown)
  • Gray squares — No data available

Incident Detection

How Incidents Are Detected

When a service fails to respond with the expected HTTP status code, the system:

  1. Records the failure
  2. Checks again on the next cycle (60 seconds)
  3. If 3 consecutive failures occur, an incident is declared
  4. Slack/Telegram notifications are sent (if configured)

Incident Response

  • Once an incident is triggered, the service shows a Degraded status
  • The histogram records the incident for that day
  • When the service recovers (successful check after incident), status returns to Operational

Planned Maintenance

Maintenance can be scheduled for specific services during defined windows:

  • During maintenance, the service shows a "Maintenance" badge
  • Checks are paused for the affected services
  • Maintenance windows are pre-configured with start/end times in UTC

To schedule maintenance, contact the Guidesify team with: - Service name - Date and time (UTC) - Expected duration - Description of the work

Notifications

Status changes can trigger notifications:

  • Slack — Notifications sent to configured webhook
  • Telegram — Bot notifications available
  • Email — Contact support to be added to notification list

Notifications are sent when: - A service transitions from Operational to Degraded - A service recovers from Degraded to Operational

Troubleshooting

Issue Solution
Status page not loading Check internet connection. Page is hosted on Cloudflare Workers with high availability
Service shows Degraded but works for me The degradation may be intermittent or affect specific regions only
Response times seem slow Response times show the last check result, not real-time user experience
Missing historical data Data retention is limited to 7 days for the histogram view
