Signing Guide

The Signing Experience

A step-by-step walkthrough of the signing process from the recipient's perspective.

Signing Flow

1. Receive Invitation

You receive an email with a link to the document. The email includes:

  • Sender's name
  • Document name
  • Link to the signing page
  • Any message from the sender

2. Singpass Verification

Before viewing the document, you must verify your identity:

  1. Click the signing link
  2. You're redirected to Singpass for identity verification
  3. Log in with your Singpass credentials
  4. Approve the identity sharing request
  5. You're redirected back to the document

Identity Verification Required

All signers must complete Singpass verification before accessing any document. This is a legal requirement.

3. Review Document

Once verified, you can:

  • View the full PDF document in the browser
  • Navigate through pages
  • Zoom in/out for detail
  • See any signature positions marked by the sender

4. Draw Signature

  1. Click the Sign button
  2. In the signature panel:
  3. Draw your signature using mouse, touchscreen, or stylus
  4. Clear and redraw if needed
  5. Position the signature on the document
  6. Click Apply Signature

5. Confirm & Complete

  1. Review the document with your signature applied
  2. Click Confirm to finalize
  3. The signed PDF is processed
  4. All parties receive the final signed document

Signature Tips

  • Use a consistent signature — Draw in a way that matches your physical signature
  • Clear background — Ensure good contrast for the signature
  • Steady input — Use a stylus or touchscreen for best results

After Signing

  • Download the signed PDF
  • Email is sent to all parties with the completed document
  • Sender Dashboard updates with signing status
  • Recipient Dashboard shows completed documents

Troubleshooting

Issue Solution
Singpass verification fails Check Singpass account is active and not locked
Signature panel not loading Try a different browser (Chrome recommended)
Signature looks distorted Redraw with slower, steadier strokes
Cannot see document Ensure you've completed Singpass verification
